Bethesda is a family-oriented church with ministry offerings for all members of the family, from infants and toddlers to grandparents, and all points in between. We place special emphasis on incorporating the whole family into our worship, teaching, fellowship and outreach activities. In addition, special programs are run for parents of young children (Mom ‘n Me) and older children (Parenting Classes), which meet on alternate Wednesday mornings.

Facilities
Bethesda’s physical facilities are designed with families in mind. This includes a dedicated nursery measuring over 800 square feet, a special room for nursing mothers, specialized facilities for safe fun and learning for preschoolers, and one-way viewing glass for all classrooms to ensure parents can check in on their children at all times. We also have a multi-purpose room / gymnasium facility for older kids and special events and activities.
Protection
Our church is dedicated to the ongoing safety and protection of both our children and workers, and as a result we have implemented the PAONL “Plan to Protect” program for screening workers and providing ongoing operational guidelines covering all aspects of care and protection for all children.
Special Events
In addition to our regular programs, we also periodically have special events for families. Whether it’s a Corn Boil at the beach, a Family Fun Fair or a special Veggie Tales video and activities, these fun times allow the whole family of Bethesda to get together and socialize in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
